Stationary Source Sampling
Stack sampling tests are conducted for regulatory compliance and engineering purposes. Our capabilites include a full range of Canadian and US reference methods conducted by standard manual techniques or with our mobile CEM system. Several common test parameters would include:
- Particulate, Trace Metals
- SOx, NOx
- Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's)
- Total Reduced Sulphur Compounds (TRS)

Source Test Ltd. provides diagnostic testing services to help clients reduce emissions, optimize process operations and reduce operating costs. Special tests are available to characterize emissions for the design and modification of pollution control systems.
Landfill / Digester Gas Testing
Landfills and wastewater digesters produce combustible gases that can be utilized for energy recovery purposes. Unfortunately compounds such as siloxanes interfere with energy recovery and must be dealt with by gas management systems. Source Test Ltd. provides gas testing for most compounds of interest including methane, carbon dioxide, siloxanes, ammonia, chlorine, fluorine, and sulphur compounds. Other gas compounds are available including a wide range of VOC’s. |

Ambient Air Testing
Source Test provides ambient air monitoring services to determine pollutant concentrations such as particulate, CO and NOx. Surveys are conducted to determine fugitive emission levels, industrial fence-line concentrations and urban air quality.
Workplace Air Quality Testing
Air quality tests are conducted to address health related workplace exposure to contaminants. Source Test evaluates the employee’s exposure based on regulatory safety limits. Surveys can help identify, evaluate and improve controls for conditions that might be harmful to an employee’s health.
Test Equipment Calibration Services
